What is FLUX?

Flux is a totally independent web portal and online community, attempting to unite media artists of every kind - providing help, support and news, linking together all aspects of online media, connecting social networking sites, video sharing, music, web tv, and about using the internet to publish or promote ourselves and our work. Providing an Independent Social Networking Directory and Personal Hosting for your media, music, youtube videos, , Flux is about personal empowerment - lets get our stuff out there!

Flux Mission

We hope here at Flux, to impartially address, understand, connect, discuss, and bring together the different aspects and strands of todays online media revolution! Hope you'll contribute and take part....

Traditional media is in flux. The growth of social networking websites are taking us more away from the traditional tv channels - and structured music establishment, and empowering us all to voice our own unique visions of the world, - freely to millions of other people, though podcasting, blogging, vodcasting, and video sharing. And as the internet becomes increasingly sosphisticated and interactive, and we gain even more power to create our own broadcasting networks, online galleries, to market our own art, our music, our writing, and even start our own online tv channels - what will happen next? The Internet Media revolution or "evolution" continues.......... At Flux , we are all involved together in making this happen... hope you'll join us... though iin reality ... you already have!

Who Are Flux?

Some of the folks behind Flux, are artists, designers, writers, photographers, multimedia artists, musicians, filmmakers, web designers, comedians, and animators. Some of us have professional backgrounds in the media. Some of us are still burning the candle at both ends, trying to make a living from what we do.
